New Year, New Studio!

Friends, can you believe it's already 2018? If you're like me, it's disarming to think about how quickly time goes by and currently I'm seeing it's passage, symbolically in our physical studio spaces.

Five years ago, I left my full-time job at DePaul University School of Music to pursue teaching private voice sessions. I did so by renting my first studio space, studio 540 in the Fine Arts Building at 410 South Michigan Ave. The space was the perfect setting to kick off this adventure and it couldn't have served me better. A couple of years later due to some wonderful growth, I took on an additional space on the sixth floor that was meant to allow for additional teaching and workshops. In studio 632B we have been able to host open mic events, concerts and most recently, yoga.

Now, five years after acquiring 540, I was given the opportunity to move that studio across the hall from 632B into a space called 632E. It was a move of convenience which happened to be a beautiful upgrade. Take a peek inside...

The Fine Arts Building is uniquely Chicago and I am so grateful to call is home to my business. This space in particular has such beautiful bones and even better energy. I can't wait for each of you to enter it and enjoy the acoustics and creative vibes that lie within. It is not for me, but for us and hope you'll take full advantage by scheduling your private session with me, Missy or Kathryn. Or, just stop by and say "Hey!" We love visitors.

Cheers, friends and Happy New Year!
